Aichi Prefectural College of Nursing & Health was founded in 1995 by Aichi Prefecture as a four-year nursing college. The Master of Science Program was established in 1999. We also offer midwifery as an elective course in undergraduate programs since 2003.

Bachelor of Science (B.S) Programs
We prepare students for practice as professional nurses and public health nurses in a wide variety of clinical situations. Students enter at the freshman level and complete the four-year program. We also accept some qualified students who enter at the junior level and complete two years of upper division nursing study.
Master of Sciences (M.S) Programs
This is a two-year program and the students have to take more than 32 credits and complete a master's thesis.
The educational objectives of the masters programs are to help the students to gain extensive knowledge regarding their nursing specialization, and develop the scientific thinking and the ability to conduct research. Students will be expected to become leaders in nursing practice, education, administration, politics and research after they obtain a masters degree.

The college is located in the eastern part of Nagoya and adjacent to Mount Togoku.
The mountain foliage changes color every season and many people go hiking there.
The Fruit Park near the school is very famous for its cherry blossoms in spring.
